The movie broke many records at the box office and is the first South Indian movie to reach the 400 crore club. Baahubali is also the first Indian movie with such a high budget of 250 crores (Both the parts).

Baahubali is directed by S.S Rajamouli who was earlier known for movies like Eega and Magadheera. The movie has a bunch of stars like Prabhas Raju playing the lead role of Amarendra Baahubali/Sivudu, Rana Daggubati playing the role of Bhallaladeva the lead antagonist, Anushka Shetty playing the role of Devasena and Tamanna Bhatia playing the role of Avantika.

The movie also has Ramya Krishnan playing the role of Sivagaami, Satya Raj playing the role of Kattappa. Nasser will be seen playing the role of Bhijjaladeva.

Baahubali has crossed 450 crores by the end of 17 days. The movie is estimated to have collected 15 crores by the end of the 19th day, making the total to 460-465 crores*. The movie will reach the 500 crore mark by the fourth weekend.
